Potted History: Formed in 2002 by Gary Lamsdale, formerly of Walsall Olympic. They were instantly successful getting promoted in their first season, losing out on the title to Clarendon. They did, however managed to win the League Cup, a competition they dominated for the coming seasons. Dynamo went onto retain the Cup in 2004 and narrowly missed out on the Division One title by just two points. Dynamo went onto win the League Cup for a third time in 2006, a feat only surpassed by Chawn Hill, but were relegated. They bounced straight back the following season and consolidated their Division One status in 07/08 finishing fifth. Gary Lamsdale announced that he was stepping down as Dynamo supremo at the end of the 2008 season, so the club moves to a new phase going forward. Gary can look back with immense pride at what he achived over his six year in charge. There are many a green eye at his three League Cup wins. Ed Walker - June 2008 |
